School Food Standards

As part of the School Food Plan, a new set of standards for all food served in schools was launched by the Department for Education. They become mandatory in all maintained schools, and new academies and free schools from January 2015

 

 WEEK 1

WEEK COMMENCING: 7th, 28th March, 2nd, 23rd May, 20th June, 11th July

Deconstructed Sweet and Sour Chicken with Noodles, Green Beans and Carrots

 

 

Fruit Crumble and Custard

 

Chicken and Salad Wraps with Homemade Ketchup and Mayonaise

 

 

Date and Cocoa Brownies

Sausages, Mash, Yorkshire Pudding, Baked Beans and Peas

 

 

 

Pineapple Cake and Custard

Bolognese with Pasta Grated Cheese, 

Homemade Garlic Bread, Salad (Tomato, Cucumber, Pepper and Carrot sticks)

Gammon or Quorn Fillet and Gravy, Roast Potatoes,

Deconstructed Chicken Curry and Rice, Salad (Tomato, Cucumber, Pepper and Carrot sticks) with Naan Bread
